IT support desk engineer is sought after by rapidly going retailer based in Peterborough. This role offers the opportunity to gain invaluable work experience in a forward thinking company. There is plenty of opportunity to learn new technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
This company is retail, both on and off line specialist with an import and distribution arm. They are a market leader and multinational organisation with HQ in East Anglia, and the business is looking to grow from £5m to £50m turnover in the next 5 years.
Provide a broad range of technical support to 200+ internal users
Maintain the IT helpdesk system
To provide functional help and assistance via phone and remote access to in store staff.
Take care of backend processes for data exchange and trouble shooting
Train and assist users
Occasional travel to provide support to national network of stores - especially in first year
Support in a Microsoft Windows and MS Office business environment
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Windows XP/ Vista/ 7
Good knowledge of helpdesk ticketing system
Microsoft Office 2003-2010
Dynamics NAV experience
Windows Server 2003/2008
