One of our leading clients is offering a great opportunity to work as Senior Systems Analyst as an integral part of the Business Solutions Team. Main purpose of the role is to develop and support the implementation of standardised system processes throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Identification of system available options for customer consideration, assessing feasibility, and recommending best fit approach
• Evaluating factors to be addressed in the solution delivery
• Investigating operational requirements and problems, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components
• Working with business representatives in defining acceptance tests
• Specifying test scenarios so that new/updated processes are delivered in accordance with customer requirements
• The creation of the design specification of simple applications using simple templates and tools.
• Applying the use of required modelling and analysis tools, methods and standards in an intelligent and effective way * Maintaining system awareness at a level where alternatives can be analysed and modelled according to feasibility
• Ensuring that views of all options are considered verified and validated within the stakeholder community
• Utilising business experience and skills to assess and advise on the practicability of alternatives, marrying up technical limitations
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of multiple business specialism's, and providing advice regarding their application
• Establishing root cause of customer issues; identifying both the corrective and preventive actions
• Documentation of Systems Issue & Test scripts for 3rd party investigations
• Providing progress / issue information to assist with customer updates
• The ownership of the delivery of minor works to time, budget and quality targets and in accordance with IT/IM standards.

Skills & Experience required:

• IFS Supply Chain essential
• IFS System awareness (all areas)
• Systematic approach to problem solving
• Knowledge of current business applications
• Business background in the supply Chain / Manufacturing area Essential:
• Basic use of all Microsoft Office products
• Documentation and Communication skills Advantageous
• IFS Manufacturing skills preferable
• SQL data manipulation skills
