The role is that of an experienced 'Production Management' support person in a team dedicated in ensuring that the 'Prime Services' suite of global applications and infrastructure are available and supported in line with defined service level agreements. The role will include involvement in frontline support, incident management and reporting, root cause analysis, productivity efficiencies & improvements and providing support during pre-production change management cycles.
Role Responsibilities
You will provide daily support of the production environment and take ownership in managing and resolving issues and problems encountered, in a timely manner to ensure minimum disruption to internal and external clients. Support coverage will be 24 x 7 (rota based).
You will interact with various teams to ensure a stable production environment, including but not limited to client service reps, application developers, business analysts, infrastructure, build & deployment and quality assurance
You will have previous experience in a production support role which required a thorough Systems Administration level knowledge of RHEL Linux, Sybase & Oracle Database Servers, Apache Tomcat Web Services, Web logic and Message bus Systems like IBM MQ Series.
You will act as the custodian of the production environment and adhere to and promote strict project lifecycle methodologies while ensuring all relevant change management procedures are being followed.
This role will suite someone who is proactive and has an eye for detail and quality, someone who is good at gathering requirements and delivering robust solutions.
