To check stock held and moving in and out of Distribution Centre is prepared and recorded correctly, investigating and resolving issues when identified. The role will ensure stock records are accurate and stock loss and errors are minimised. Reporting to the Stock Integrity Manager and liaising with Operations Manager and Internal Audit to improve stock management and reduce losses.

Stock preparation:
Preparing stock from the pick lists for deliveries.
Picking Stock into despatch bays for drivers.
Loading vans.
Unloading vans.
Load checks before vans leave – volumes, e-codes and quality of kit
Confirmation of vehicle checks first thing
Load check for vans returning - volumes and e-codes & inspection for damage/missing accessories (quality).
Empowered to investigate and resolve volume discrepancies and e-code discrepancies (warehouse and deliveries)
Liaise with sending/receiving branches
Record issues identified and record when resolved. Report any recurring issues with drivers, customers and sending branches.
Management of Stock Transfers, minimising outstanding STs
Update contracts following manual Plant Returns or additional notes on incoming paperwork (Transport Managers role)
Liaise with Transport Managers about outstanding jobs and sourcing of kit
Remit extends to PRISM vehicle(s)
Check incoming kit against STs
Empowered to put kit into Check status if paperwork is missing for incoming kit
Preparing ST’s and load-checking outgoing vehicle
Segregation and control of kit in warehouse (available, check, maintenance)
Stock control
Daily stock checks
Stock quality checks
Daily Ten item check of available
Constant monitoring of stock segregation
GI-ing new equipment and check stock in fleeted correctly
