About The Role

Full time opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor based with the Access Centre Children's Team.

The Access Centre Children's Team is the gateway to all safeguarding and child protection referrals into Children's Social Care. The Team provides advice and information to the public and professionals. It refers children in need and child protection cases to the Duty and Assessment Teams through the Initial Assessment Processes. The Team also enters all Domestic Abuse Notifications on to information database and makes casework decisions on them to ascertain levels of intervention necessary. The Team responds to requests for information from CAFCASS, Probation Service, YOS and the SEN services as well as out of county children's services and is responsible for recording and acting on missing persons information received from West Mercia Police.

The role of a Customer Service Advisor within ACCT is to answer all telephone calls in respect of public and professional enquiries in respect of concerns about children, and also assist in undertaking written Requests for Information as outlined above .
