Software Development Manager, Embedded Systems, Java, C++, Agile, Enterprise Software

Software Development Manager needed by this leading supplier of enterprise software used globally. Based in North London offices you will be responsible for heading up a team of 5 agile developers and remote staff developing embedded systems in .Net and Java. In the role you will be responsible for managing the development, design and maintenance of the clients new product suit in C++ and Java you will also be getting your hands dirty with some development yourself as well.

The successful candidate will have excellent commercial experience of leading successful software project deliveries within an ISV or an organisation building embedded systems. 4 + Years experience of leading / managing development teams. Experience of AGILE development and SCRUM. Experience in computer programming being able to hands on develop using Java, C++ or .net or other web application frameworks. Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Dassault ENOVIA or Siemens TeamCenter, and Systems Engineering processes would be beneficial. Understanding of Model Driven Development and experience in using tools such as Mathworks MATLAB or IBM Rhapsody would be beneficial. Experience building software for use in the automotive, avionics or defence industry is desirable.
