You will be: Based in, and work in the Belfast office with the potential to travel outside Northern Ireland for work on client sites. Contributing to the design, development and delivery of next-generation analytics solutions and services to clients across all industries and client offerings.
Help shape the go to-market approach and client offerings Participate in the full service lifecycle, from design to sales, through to setup and delivery. Have the opportunity to lead and directly shape client relationships, with extensive client interaction. The Role You will be predominately client focused working on projects using your technical skills to deliver innovative solutions as part of a team of up to 10 developers and BA's. The primary responsibilities are developing and enhancing software components including documentation and implementation of test plans, Scripts and test harnesses.
You will analyse business / technology requirements and work within a team to recommend technical alternatives. Key areas of focus: Predictive analytics applications Web-based analytics and decision support solutions Relational Databases, SQL, ETL technologies OLAP databases and business modelling solutions Enterprise Analytics platforms e.g. IBM Business Analytics, SAP Business Objects, SAS Business Analytics Data Exploration solutions e.g. Qlikview, Tebleau, Tibco Spotfire Data management packages e.g.
Ab Initio, MS SQL Server, Informatica, IBM InfoSphere Essential applicant criteria A good graduate degree (1st or 2:1) preferable in a numerical or computational discipline. Role specific criteria: Minimum for 3 years recent experience delivering solutions involving one or more of the following: Business Intelligence Solutions; Data mining or predictive analytics solutions; or Data Driven Solutions Experience in one or more of the following functional areas: Solution Architecture Business Intelligence / Enterprise performance Management Application Design Application development and configuration; and / or Release management.
