The sucessful candidate will be responsible for the testing and assessment of plastic products which include:
Weight, dimension and density checks.
Sample preparation.
Friction analysis.
Colour measurement.
Heat resistance checks.
Impact testing.
Surface property assesment.
Wear resistance.
Product assembly tests.
Management of sample materials.
Peel, Tensile and flexibility testing.
Load bearing capabilities.
The Person:
Appropiate qualification in Engineering or similar.
Appropiate experience in testing materials.
Experience in testing from a product development/QA type background.
Ability to analyse results, recognise trends and form appropiate conclusions.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent ability to multi-task and adapt to changing requirements.
Excellent manual "hands on" skills.
Good communication, organisational and reporting skills.
It must be noted that the products manufactured within this company are not small, and vary in height, length and weight, so this would ideally suit a "hands on" manual orientated individual.
