Working within a small team, you will be responsible for providing 1st line telephone support to associates, as well as IT support for hardware, software and operational problems, including users on the Windows and Linux network.
As an IT Helpdesk Analyst, you will predominantly support external customers, resolving issues where possible and escalating them to the appropriate departments.
In addition to providing a fast, efficient and comprehensive service, your other duties will include:
- Updating the call management system
- Building, deploying and configuring PCs
- Upgrading hardware and software as required
- Creating documentation and SOPs
- Administering the network
To be considered for this role, you must have experience of providing helpdesk or desktop support in a Windows environment. Additionally, you must have experience of using or supporting the following:
- MS Office 2007 or 2010
- Windows Server 2003 or 2008
- Active Directory
- Exchange Server
As an IT Helpdesk Analyst, you must have strong customer-facing and communication skills as well as a willingness to learn and a temperament for self-improvement. A team player, you must be equally comfortable working autonomously on individual projects.
Experience of any of the following would be beneficial to your application: Network troubleshooting using TCP/IP, LAN or WAN, SQL Server, VB.NET, VMware or vSphere, Linux, telephony, Dell KACE, Firewall or VPN.
