Client:
My client is a successful business who are actively recruiting for a Management Accountant that is keen to develop their career in a large profitable organisation operating in the FMCG sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious accountant who wants to gain unrivalled management accounting experience to accelerate their career progression.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of weekly, periodic and ad-hoc management reports
Preparation of period management accounts, to include sales, margin and cost analysis
Preparation of periodic branch P&L’s
Preparation of periodic channel P&L’s
Preparation of operating statement
Identification and analysis of material variations to budget, and liaise with branch management around costs and variances
Prepare accruals and pre-payments for branches on a periodic basis
Prepare accruals and prepayments reconciliations for period accounts and hard close
Liaise with Dublin finance teams around costs and hard close reconciliations
Preparation of ad hoc reports, providing commercial and financial support to the business as required
The development of robust Forecast and budget Models that would be flexible enough to cope with business change.
Timely preparation of budget and forecast consolidations to allow full review before submission.
Reconciliation of Key Balance Sheet Accounts
Preparation of hard close and year end account reconciliations
The Ideal Person:
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least three years post qualified experience. You will have strong financial reporting and analysis experience and a high level of attention to detail.
Remuneration:
The salary will be in the region of Â30,000
