Sanctuary Supported Living is at the forefront of providing specialist support and accommodation for a wide group of people whose needs cannot be met in general accommodation. This includes the homeless, those with mental ill-health needs, learning disabilities, teenage parents and those experiencing drug and alcohol problems or domestic abuse.

The New Milton Scheme, Hampshire, supports people with physical and learning disabilities. You will work as part of a team responsible for the well-being of adults within Supported Housing and Registered Care. You will support residents by promoting their independence within their own home and the wider community.

You will be working in both Supported Housing and Registered Care; in Registered Care, you will be providing personal care. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ideally you will be NVQ level 2 qualified in Health & Social Care or, with our support, willing to study for this qualification.

A flexible approach to work is required as you will work on a two-week rotating shift pattern, covering 7.30am to 10.30pm, with regular sleeping-in shifts. You will also be required to work one weekend in two.
