This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Business Development Director and the activities of the Business Development team based in UK and North America.

Key responsibilities focus on providing general administrative and organisational support to Business Development staff with respect to expenses, appointment scheduling, travel needs, arranging client and departmental meetings and telephone and web-based conferences.

There will also be the responsibility to update the global client database and running regular reports for weekly team meetings on Business Development activity.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in an administrative or secretarial role is required, along with the following:

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Good English language and grammar skills

Excellent typing and computer skills: Microsoft Word for Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Email Programs, Internet, Search Engines

Ability to identify and set priorities and effectively perform a variety of tasks simultaneously

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Positive attitude and ability to work well with others

Proven professional leadership and time management skills

Ability to deal professionally with all types of information, including that of a confidential nature

Also prior exposure/ experience in a Sales/ Business Development/Marketing group within a commercial environment would be an advantage.
