SENIOR LIBRARY ASSISTANTS - WEEKEND (PLUS)

(Part-time / Fixed-term until 30 June 2014)

Grade 3: £16,376 - £17,827 pro rata per annum

We are currently seeking two staff to assist with weekend opening at the Sir Kenneth Green Library. Normally staff work 6 hours on a Saturday or Sunday, and additional hours are attached to some of these posts. The successful candidates will work as one of a small team and will undertake a range of routine tasks essential to the operation of an academic library but particularly focusing on student support. The successful candidate will have a strong customer service ethos, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work methodically. He/she will ideally have previous experience of employment within a library.
