Our client is one of the UK's leading microchip companies behind the technology found in the vast array of consumer electronic devices. After an exceptional market performance over the past year, they are now looking to hire a Research Engineer into their technology centre in East Anglia.
This is a key role within the business, as it will be your work which ultimately furthers the company's success. As a member of the R&D team you will experiment and innovate, developing the next generation technology for the company's future products and, of course, deliver results.
Qualifications required:
- a Masters or PhD degree in Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent.
Technical skills / knowledge required:
- CPU/ DSP architecture and microarchitecture
- hardware design using Verilog or VHDL
- processor design and implementation
- C, C++ or Java programming.
The individual sought:
- will have a track record of seeing projects through to completion
- will enjoy problem solving and tackling engineering challenges
- must be highly innovative
- and have excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
