This is an exciting opportunity to join Vodafone UK in an exciting role within the Vodafone Mobile Data Services team based in Hayes.
As a member of the Mobile Data Services team, the role will involving building and supporting the VMSG data centre network equipment, designing solutions and supporting customers through changes. Other duties include performance monitoring, incident handling and problem resolution. The role will involve significant team work both with external client teams and internal Vodafone teams.
As a Senior Support Consultant your main responsibilities will involve:
Understanding client(s) SLA e.g., support entitlement, in-scope work, response times, hours of operation, penalty clauses etc.
Ensuring that service delivery targets are met or exceeded. E.g., agreed Service Levels
Ensuring client issues are resolved or escalated in an appropriate manner.
Managing activities effectively whilst focusing on objectives and results and prioritising accordingly
As a Senior Support Consultant
your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
RHCSA Certification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Core knowledge of IT Network Infrastructure
A proven track record of success in a 2
nd
/3rd line support role with skills across a wide range of technologies.
Experience of working in Technical Support / Implementation area.
Problem resolution experience
Experience with liaising with clients at all levels.
Excellent ability to manage customer relationships, their expectations (and define acceptance criteria), and to understand requirements of business and customer to ensure they are translated into technical delivery
The ability to be an effective team player
