This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded individual to operate as a Hard Services manager, overseeing the delivery of Sodexo’s Hard FM services across 6 sites for the same client.

Key Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for ensuring that engineering maintenance, including contract work, is carried out to appropriate standards and specifications

Provide expert specialist and professional building and engineering expertise to other staff, directors and senior management of the organisation

Management operation and implementation of the Permit to Work system and Safe Systems at work

The management of a team who will ensure the safe operation of all plant and equipment of the client’s estates

The management of a reactive maintenance service for the client’s estates

To develop long term strategic estates operations plans to implement organisational objectives for critical services

Experience Required:
Demonstrate a highly developed specialist knowledge and skills to degree level or equivalent in Engineering disciplines

Proven experience of delivering Hard FM services across client sites and leading teams of engineers

NEBOSH or equivalent certificated

Proven financial acumen essential with commercial experience and business acumen

Proven track record of initiating and leading demanding business change programmes

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong people management skills, with ability to drive results via diverse teams

Ability to drive innovation across the sites and continually develop new ideas surrounding service delivery

Proven ability to foster and grow strong client relationships within a corporate environment

Ability to work to a budget. Able to understand figures and data and spreadsheets and analyse the data in them
