As Program Manager with a leading automotive powertrain consultancy you will Lead & Organize meetings, prepare and present one page status reports, lead and organize problem resolution reports, lead and control program aspects such as timing, costs, weight. Candidates must have a good understanding of engines and be educated to minimum BSc or BEng in Mechanical engineering, automotive engineering degree.

Responsibilities of the Program Engineer include:
Good overall understanding of engine development and gateway delivery disciplines
Internal planning, organizing and problem analysis
Leadership, co-ordination and clear reporting to support key project gateways
Interfacing and co-ordination with internal customers within Vehicle Platforms, and Manufacturing.
Understand base engine component and system architectures is desirable
Understanding of Quality disciplines (e.g. FMEA, test plan development etc) is desirable
Problem solving tools and techniques (e.g. fishbone diagrams, 8D analysis etc) is desirable

The ideal Program Engineer will :
Be degree educated in Mechanical or automotive engineering
Able to interface with a wide range of different project customers
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
Strong written and oral communication skills
Adaptive, personable style
Strong familiarity with Microsoft and HTML based tools are essential
PMP Certifications is desired.
