The Product Marketing team in Santander is a fast paced and exciting division to work and offers a creative individual the chance to work alongside stakeholders from across the bank and develop successful and profitable marketing strategies.
An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager working specifically on delivering regulatory change for mortgages in Santander. In this role you will be ensuring that we adhere to formal regulation/rules as well as ensuring our culture, products and services have Treating Customers Fairly embedded. Marketing is critical to this change and your role will include analysing and understanding how Santander is treating its mortgage and Personal Loans customers and then delivering initiatives to improve this.
It will include initiatives driven from complaints analysis, feedback from the FSA or other regulators such as The Financial Ombudsman, together with internal data. All initiatives will require a focus not only on the customer, but also the implications for colleagues and shareholders. Through analysis and understanding of customer, product, market and financial information, you will develop a marketing plan and implement customer/product propositions that will achieve company business objectives.
As Marketing Manager your responsibilities will include:-
Initiating and recommending product propositions, across a range of sales channels, that ensure adherence to Treating Customers Fairly principles
Proposition and implementation of process enhancements
Gaining approval of key forums and stakeholders for new initiatives
Delivery of regulatory change
Ongoing monitoring and identification of potential issues
Ensuring the right balance between customers, colleagues, shareholders and regulators
As Marketing Manager your skills and experience will include:-
Degree level education plus relevant Marketing experience
High levels of numeracy and ability to analyse complex data sets
Knowledge of Mortgage regulations, processes and procedures
Excellent commercial acumen
Good communication skills - ability to synthesise complicated issues and communicate effectively to non technical audiences
Ability to build collaborative relationships across numerous business areas
