Watson Moore are currently managing the
recruitment process for a Divisional Financial Controller role within a
successful manufacturing organisation based in Cheshire . Reporting into the Head of Finance,
this role would hold full P+L accountability for the largest subsidiary of the
business and would involve the reporting and forecasting of the entity’s
financials as well as business partnering with key operational stakeholders
such as the Research and Development function and the production arm of the
business. Highly adept at building successful and lasting relationships, you
will work across the business to improve buy in to the consolidated financial
figures for the business and will strive to interrogate expenditure and cost,
comparing against forecast and budget where appropriate.

The successful candidate
will be a qualified accountant with demonstrable post qualification experience
within a challenging and commercially focused managerial role. Hailing from a
strong technical grounding, candidates will possess previous experience of
implementing robust controls and streamlining key processes. Previous
experience within a demanding manufacturing environment is essential, while
prior exposure to the aviation sector would be beneficial although not a
prerequisite. Responsible for managing a small finance team, previous
experience of staff management and people development would also be crucial for
