Nationwide are offering a combination of permanent and 2 year fixed term contract positions and we are recruiting Project Managers at a variety of different levels.
Delivering our most complex and ambitious change initiatives, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering every stage of substantial projects, from start-up through to governance arrangements, stakeholder management and implementation. You'll work closely with your sponsor to maintain a robust business case throughout the life of a project, bringing your own pragmatic, commercial insight into play. Drawing on your finely honed problem-solving and communication skills, you'll engage effectively with your project team, your sponsor, colleagues and suppliers to skilfully manage project dependencies, risks and issues to ensure your projects remains on track.
Whether you come to us from a financial services, telecoms or retail background, your senior level project management experience should extend to the management of multi-disciplined teams and change management in both an IT and business environment. An expert in project management tools and methodologies such as PRINCE 2, you'll also need astute business acumen and the high level communication, influencing and negotiation skills necessary to build relationships at all levels. Perhaps most important will be your strong attention to detail, logical, consistent approach, ability to work well under pressure and relentless focus on delivering results in a controlled project environment.
