A cutting edge Engineering Company, based in the Hampshire region, is urgently looking for an Aeronautical Design Engineer to work on specific naval antenna technologies. Your assistance will help with the development of industry leading communications technologies for the military, private and public sectors. You will be joining a team of very intelligent and respected Physicists, Mathematicians and Engineers working on naval antenna products that will aid the technologies community.
You will be working within a team of highly educated and experienced Physicists, Design Engineers and Mechanical Engineers who have specialist knowledge of naval antenna technologies. They are looking for Aeronautical Designer with specialist knowledge working on naval antenna technologies using CAD to design the products. While using CAD systems you will be specifically finding and solving advanced electromagnetic problems. Ideally you will have a particular interest in electromagnetic problem solving.
To be successful in this role you will have a detailed understanding of naval antenna development using electromagnetic physics to solve development problems. We really need someone who can hit the ground running so there will not be much time for training; this is why you need to have worked on naval antenna products previously.
The role will involve working on classified products, this means you will need to be able to obtain security clearance, and therefore you must be a UK national or have been living in the UK for over five years nonstop and hold a British passport. It would be ideal if you already hold security clearance.
Due to the importance of this role, in the company, you will need to hold a degree from a high ranking University, ideally a Russell Group University, in Physics, Electronics or Engineering. It will be highly advantageous if you also hold a relevant PhD.
