Numberfit is a new and unique concept in maths for pre-school and primary school age children. Its aim is to get children’s minds and bodies in shape. Using a multi-sensory (kinesthetic, visual and auditory) teaching methodology combined with fitness and for every child to enjoy learning.

Numberfit provides an active and healthy head start in education, using an innovative and fun blend of multi-sensory lessons, energetic physical activities and team games to teach numeracy. We give our students or mathletes both a mental and physical workout whilst getting them socially active and feeling great about learning. • Increase levels of numerical competency and provide a progressive support structure for the National Curriculum and EYFS for numeracy.
• Increase levels of fitness and enjoyment of physical exercise.
• Promote inclusion and the development of social skills and team exercises.
• To make numeracy ‘cool’.

As such we are looking for candidates with the following qualities:

• Enjoys working with children and interested in contributing to their academic, physical and social well-being.
• Has a large presence and excellent communication skills. Sessions will involve running team games for children, you will be expected to be fun, loud and able to engage groups of children.
• Numerate. Full training will be given, but you will be expected to be able to communicate the basics of pre-school to KS2 numeracy to small groups of children.

These positions are open to everyone but may be of particular interest to people interested in teaching experience, enjoy working with children and are driven and motivated to find a fulfilling career.

Further to these positions if you feel you are somebody that either has a skill-set or experience that would allow you to contribute to Numberfit in a role other than outlined, we would be keen to hear from you too.
