Position:
MISSION
- Responsible for the day to day running of the Press Office
- Support the PR Manager with the planning, organisation and implementation of P.R. launches, trips and events for Givenchy and Fendi
- To help raise awareness and promote the image of the brand through UK & Ireland
- To build and maintain strong media and artist relations for Givenchy & Fendi
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Press Officer position reports directly to the PR Manager, LVMH Fragrance Brands
- Working closely with the International, Marketing & Sales teams, responsible for implementing and coordinating PR initiatives for the brand
- In line with International strategy and working with the PR Manager, build Givenchy and Fendi brand.
- Work with PR Manager to implement the agreed campaign and write proposals for all relevant projects
- Responsible for key product press launches throughout the year - theme, venue search, invitations, food, flowers, press packs etc.
- Help to organise special luxury press trips with the PR Manager
- Assume complete responsibility for day to day running of press office and management of intern.
- Coordinate all press release and product mailings for all new launches*
- Work with marketing and sales teams to organise regional press tours to launch key product launches for editorial coverage support
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with key beauty press
- Proactively seek to raise awareness of the brand with high-profile make-up artists and maintain relationships with those on the database for Givenchy make up credits
- Co-ordinate with France, all activity and information for new launches, press releases and visuals
- Liaise with Marketing department to ensure the Press Office has latest product information
- Write local press releases to ensure that they are to a standard that reflects the image of the brand
- Respond to media enquiries and send out requested products*
- Commission photography, stylists etc for shoots and brand features
- Control the ordering of pre- series, catalogue stock and corporate materials*
- Monitor papers and magazines for coverage and potential new contacts / opportunities*
- Compile monthly press books for UK and international markets*
- Monitor and update the media and makeup artist database on a regular basis
- Write weekly PR updates for internal newsletter

Experience:
- Minimum 4 years experience working in a Beauty PR Department
- Beauty industry experience essential
- Fashion industry experience preferable
