The post is available from 1 September 2012 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The aim of the project is to develop analytical and numerical methods allowing a systematic investigation of coherent structures in non-local active-dissipative systems. The successful candidate should have a PhD in Mathematics or other related area and a strong foundation on applied mathematics /general mathematical modeling and mathematical techniques (analytical and numerical). A good knowledge of theoretical fluid mechanics including interfacial flows is highly desirable.
