IT Support Engineer - 6 months to perm - Peterborough - £10 per hour
My client, a technology consultancy, are currently looking for an experienced IT support engineer in Peterborough to work on a 6 month contract that could develop in permanent position should the candidate impress during this time period (hits SLA’s, performs to a excellent standard, demonstrates commitment and the attitude to provide superb support)
As an IT engineer you will be expected to provide 1st and 2nd line support locally and remote support to contract customers globally. You will have a basic understanding of networks as well as a good level of routers, switches and MS office up to version 2010. Technical competency will be expected in Windows server admin, AD ( active directory ) and mailbox management.
As mentioned above, you will be required to do remote access configurations for customers, many of whom are overseas.
