At Yeo Valley we are independent, British & proud to be making the highest quality yogurts, desserts & ice cream for the Yeo Valley Organic and Ubley brands as well as for many of the UK's major retailers. Operating from 4 dairies & 2 logistics centres in rural Somerset & Devon, we employ over 1500 staff & produce more than 22% of the UK's yogurt.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Central Planning team as a Production Planner (Shift), working as part of a skilled specialist planning team on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including weekends. This role will report to the Planning Compliance Manager and will be responsible for the day to day preparation and management of production schedules and finished stocks to maintain market-leading standards of customer service.

The successful applicant will be trained from the outset in our planning software systems. The role will require excellent communication and organisational skills and the job holder will be expected to communicate with personnel in all functions and at all levels within the organisation.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience working within an FMCG environment and understanding of food manufacture will be a distinct advantage. This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding role that is reflected in the excellent remuneration package
