JOB TITLE:- Customer Service Advisor
LOCATION:- Bristol
SALARY:- £14 - £15K plus bonus + Benefits (listed below) -
HOURS:- 37.5 hours per week between 8am and 8pm. There will be a requirement to work some Saturdays 9-5 or Sunday 10-4)
We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to work on our exciting new ASDA campaign.
JOB PURPOSE / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:-
- Reporting to Customer Service Team Manager.
- Responsible for providing excellent levels of customer service to insurance policyholders and insurers by processing telephone calls, emails and paperwork to a high quality within the targets of the department.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- To ensure that individual KPI targets are hit on a monthly basis.
- Providing and collecting accurate information for policyholder / insurance companies and other agencies via telephone and post.
- Ensuring policyholders are insured with the correct timescales for mid term adjustments and mid term transfers.
- Collecting appropriate fees from policyholders.
- Portraying Brightside Plc and its group members in a positive way to customers and insurance companies.
- Providing cross sale leads for other Plc / group companies.
- Liaising with departments across the company to ensure company processes and procedures are followed.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:-
- Customer Service experience.
- Good communication, rapport and negotiating skills with ability to articulate effectively with all relevant parties.
- Ability to gather accurate information and store it correctly using software.
- Ability to prioritise and complete workload effectively.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Ability to act on own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Insurance experience / qualification preferable.
- Experience of working within a contact centre environment.
- Understanding of products within the business.

LOCATION:-
With a great North Bristol location in our spacious call centre overlooking the Severn Bridge which avoids the traffic blackspots. Only 25 minutes from the city centre and 10 minutes from Aztec West, with plenty of free parking. Due to our location you will need your own transport to commute to our offices.
