Randstad Financial & Professional's client is a small to medium sized manufacturing company and part of a large international group.
They now seek to recruit a part qualified accountant to join their established accounting team reporting to the Accounting Manager.
The role will cover a wide range of tasks and provide practical experience for applicants currently studying toward professional exams. there is also genuine career prospects as the successful applicant will be expected to progress towards the role of Finance Manager in the short to medium term.
Management Accountant Duties
- Review and update of the Fixed Asset Register
- Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Cash flow and sales forecasting
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of budgets
- Capital investment appraisal
- Physical inventory counts and reconciliations
Management Accountant Requirements
- Part qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Good team player
- Attention to details
- Strong IT skills
- Ambitious keen to progress within the organisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
