The Role: Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Purpose and Primary Objective
Mechanical design and development of existing and future product platforms within the company.
Support Drawing updates and changes in line with quality systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
Support mechanical product design & development and research activities using 2D/3D CAD (Solidworks).
Develop new products to meet the requirements of the commercial team and market place.
Ensure adherence to technical standards for product development and design operations.
Ensure the planning and execution of development projects are carried out in conformance with the Company quality management system.
The Candidate: Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer
Candidates must be experienced in the following area:-
Background experience with precision injection moulded parts.
Complex Mechanism and component design.
Experience with design for manufacture.
Proficient in the use of 3D design software
A sound knowledge of polymers
