) program, sponsored by the CIO of JPMorgan, has been established to create an elegant, highly streamlined IT development and delivery environment. This program has been segmented into several projects that will cover everything from the automated delivery of pre-configured virtual machines to just-in-time deployment of a developer desktop. Here are the high-level descriptions of the four projects within this program.

Provides immediate access to a set of integrated Project Management tools including a communications web site, an issue management system and version control. Additionally, Project Managers can acquire development environments with the

a pre-configured set of best practice tools fully integrated with JPMC-specific systems like Jira and Subversion. Projects can get a quick-start with the project creation wizard supporting standard patterns

No more waiting! Developers, Product Managers and others can see code quality metrics at any point in the process. Conventional trend reporting is available using the

Application Server Stack:
Immediate access to development environments when you need them. These virtual environments are delivered with all the standard applications fully integrated so you can start development TODAY. Components include the application server, single sign on, a database, a message broker server, a business rules engine and more

This role resides in the FAST DEI project, and is for a green field development team that will develop a new analysis solution for tracking developer coverage throughout development cycles.

Qualifications

College degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience

Excellent technical and analytical skills

Strong Java/J2EE development & deployment

Strong Ruby/Ruby on Rails development & deployment

Must have proven track record in implementing mid to large scale Java and Ruby applications

A team player with excellent communication and problem solving skills

Demonstrated experience working as a developer designing and delivering architectures, user interfaces, middle-tier and server-side components

Experience assisting in the design of end-to-end architectures and frameworks for financial services and other business application solutions

Web Development (JSP/Servlets) experience

SQL experience on Oracle, Sybase or any other relational database

Experience in the Spring Framework

Experience in Java's Reflection API, AspectJ and AOP

Experience in JSF/Struts or any other MVC Web Frameworks

Familiarity with HTML/Java Script/CSS

Knowledge of Subversion or any other source code control systems

Experience in developing Java/J2EE solutions in a Tomcat, WebSphere or WebLogic environments

Experience in developing Ruby/Ruby on Rails solutions in a Webrick, Mongrel or Tomcat environments

Experience with persistence strategies (iBatis, Hibernate, wrapped JDBC) to interact with databases is desired along with experience in using enterprise class RDBMs (Oracle, Sybase, etc.)

Experience in using Eclipse or other IDEs

Experience in Linux, UNIX and/or AIX operating environments

Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office products

Must be familiar with structured project life cycle disciplines

Cross-functional IT experience in application development and interface design is essential in this role with an emphasis on web application development preferred

Ability to develop strong client relationships

Ability to communicate at all levels of management and with customers

Demonstrated skills both written and verbal are required
