- Priory Grange Heathfield, Salary £11,492 - £14,100 Pro rata + enhancements, 37.5hrs pw or P/T 33hrs pw
The Priory Grange is a 28 bed mixed hospital offering specialist complex care for people with enduring mental health and physical needs.
We are looking for enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants with excellent interpersonal skills. You will need to be flexible and self motivated to work in this unique and sometimes challenging environment.
Duties will involve all aspects of care for our patients who have a combination of mental and physical illnesses.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of care plans.
- Observes and monitors the well being of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, emotional or mental occurrences are promptly referred to a senior nurse.
- Develops and maintains a good professional relationship with patient, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries.
You will be required to work flexible shifts including weekends to meet to needs of the hospital.
Own transport is essential due to our rural location.
