Our client is worldwide company with a vacancy in their Southampton

office for a Software Developer.

Requirements…

Must have recent experience with C# and ASP.NET

Full SDLC experience, able to design, code, debug, test, document, and

maintain customer facing web applications and sites

Knowledge of design patterns and Object Orientated Design

Knowledge of building and maintaining data-driven web applications

Knowledge of refactoring, including improving the design of existing

code

Agile SDLC Knowledge

Experience working on Scrum team

Good understanding of business process modelling and work flows

Good understanding of UI practices

Experience of large, complex system implementation projects

Professional experience working with Microsoft SQL Server

Experience of web development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and

AJAX

Microsoft certified would be an advantage but must at least be willing to

get certified

Knowledge of performing test driven development

Strong analytic skills, strategic vision, and logical approach to

problem solving

Full UK Driving licence is required due to travel to customer sites

The Role…

Salary is up to £40’000 per annum, 22 days holiday (rising),

contributory pension scheme, free onsite parking, opportunities for future

Design, develop and test enterprise software solutions

Deploy and support solutions through testing environments, work with

test teams to ensure quality

Provide estimates on new feature development, bugs and change requests

Work internal departments to prepare designs and functional

specifications

To deliver high quality functional software within agreed time-scales

Perform code and document reviews

Investigate reported software/system faults and rectify and report back

promptly

Assist in project planning and estimates

Attend customer meetings
