Our Client, a leading pharmaceutical research company with sites in Northern Ireland and the US, are seeking to recruit a talented Application Developer to take responsibility for the design and development of integrated solutions.

As Application Developer, your remit will include:
providing a Java technical resource on development and integration projects
designing and delivering solutions in accordance with the defined technical architecture
reviewing designs and software developed within the team to ensure it is in accordance with the defined technical architecture
liaising with infrastructure and data support services ensuring network, security and database integrity for all software systems
providing technical assistance on projects
assisting in the establishment of design standards, design patterns and best practices
providing technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of issues
assisting in the production of estimates for work ensuring estimates are realistic and achievable
In order to be considered for the role of Application Developer, it is essential that you meet the following criteria:
have a degree in Computer Science or related subject
have previous software development experience with Java design and development
previous exposure to JSF/JSP
experience in PL/SQL and the full Software Development Lifecycle
proven methodical, analytical and organised approach to task
knowledge of Oracle Application Server 10g
experience of Oracle JDeveloper including ADF, Oracle Application Server, UML Design and Agile Methodologies
