The role We wish to appoint an experienced, hardworking and committed Administrator who will be responsible for the efficient running of the School Office.
Required to start as soon as possible, the hours are 37 per week, 39 weeks per year.
We are looking for a friendly, positive, happy and smiling person who is able to work under pressure. You will have excellent communication skills, be organised and proactive. Good typing and excellent interpersonal skills with knowledge of SIMs and Evolve are essential.

Health and Safety
- Display Screen Equipment Assessor and PACE Administrator
- Assist with Health and Safety Audit
- School Emergency Plan and School Lettings Emergency Plan
- Responsible for Health and Safety Certificates folder and related documentation
- Fire Warden
- Responsible for upkeep of Incident Bag
Educational Visits
- EVC (Educational Visits Co-ordinator)
- Responsible for inputting all school visits on EVOLVE and all associated visit administration
- Risk assessments - ensure appropriate for trip
- Ensure necessary approval is granted by Headteacher or County
- Maintain and update school visits documentation folder with individual trip details and Emergency Plan – to be taken by Group Leader on all visits
- Responsible for completing and forwarding the Annual School Visits Return to County
SIMS
- Assessment Manager – input of results
- Maintain and update pupil database
- Admissions and departures – responsible for all administrative procedures including CTF’s, pupil records, end of year procedures, setting up of pastoral structure for the beginning of the year and secondary transfer procedures
- SENCO module
- System Manager – official returns, (School Census)
- Admission forms for all Y3’s and data collection annually for Y4/5/6
Finance
- Monthly bank statement reconciliation – Imprest and school fund
- Authorise invoices
- Authorise Purchasing Card purchases
Governors
- Minute Governor meetings, type minutes and distribute
- Liaison with Clerk to the Governors
Publications
- School Prospectus
- Staff Handbook

- Website – develop and update
