Project Manager required in Larne for an (initially) 12 month Temporary assignment.
To support an increased level of activity within region, an excellent opportunity is available to join Global Information Systems for the position of a Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities;
This position has the responsibility for the management and delivery of critical and complex IT projects whilst ensuring adherence to specification, budget and delivery schedule.
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
Manage day to day operational aspects of a project and scope
Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to the customer
Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards
Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
Minimizes company exposure and risk on project
Ensures project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately
Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis
Manages project budget
Analyzes project success or profitably, on time, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization
The individual must be able to successfully function in an environment where high quality and efficiency are expected.
Essential Qualifications and Experience;
A degree in an IT or Business related discipline with 3 years job related discipline OR
An HND/HNC or equivalent qualification with 5 years job related experience
