Part of our contact centre team, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering excellent customer service by:
Answering and resolving customer enquiries and demonstrating ownership of the problem
Proactively reviewing customer accounts when they call, to identify and resolve any future problems before they arise
We are looking for organised people, who through excellent planning and time management can put the customers needs at the heart of all decisions.
Enhancing the overall customer relationship with British Gas
In delivering excellent customer service, you will need to:
Respond to queries raised by customers in a polite and friendly manner
Investigate and resolve routine customer enquiries, ensuring the delivery of an efficient and effective service to our customers
Liaise with internal and external customers as well as third parties to ensure engineers work is planned correctly
Empathise with the customer where appropriate and ensure the customer always feels valued, treated fairly and properly informed.
Working as part of a team of Customer Services Advisors, reporting to a Team Manager, you will at all times be aware of our commitment to service and the application of our core values. Through receiving ongoing coaching and development in telephone and questioning techniques, you will be able to demonstrate continuous improvements in quality performance and consistency with standards of service. This support will enable you develop and to deliver an excellent level of service to our customers.
