What is expected of you as a Senior Carer?
You will be at the very heart of our industry, so you are expected to be reliable, dependable and committed to make a difference in our homes. As a team leader you will be self motivated with the passion to inspire your team to achieve the best.
Duties will include
Supporting the activities of daily living in a person centred manner
Promote physical and personal independence as well as choice in all daily activities
Help in promoting a stimulating and homely environment
Instruct, support, mentor and act as a role model for new and existing Care Assistants
Measure and record blood pressures, temp, pulse and respiration as necessary
Carry out simple delegated wound dressing procedures and urine analysis when required

What skills do I need to join?
You'll need NVQ 2 or 3 in Care along with previous experience within healthcare.
