We are currently looking for two Assistant Team Managers with significant experience within the Children's frontline services to join our Duty and Assessment team and Looked after Children team based in Leatherhead.
If you are looking to develop your career then this move into a managerial role will give you valuable experience of supervising our frontline social work teams.
You will assist the Team Manager, overseeing the running of the team. We will count on you to provide supervision, professional guidance, advice and support to less experienced staff, helping them develop and ensuring that best professional practice and standards are maintained within the team and across the Service.
You will be a current Assistant Team Manager or Senior Social Worker with significant experience of frontline work and ideally with supervisory experience. Youll be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of undertaking assessments, care planning and legal proceedings.
Together with the necessary IT and time management skills to enable you to work effectively and efficiently in this busy role.

£36,965 (plus £1,500 per annum retention supplement and £1,500 frontline team supplement)
