Head Chef required to lead the kitchen at this superb Boutique Hotel and AA Award Winning restaurant located between Carmarthen and Brecon. The Hotel has a popular Wedding and events following with at least 1 event for 100 per week and up 3 on a busy week.
The hotel serves popular lunchtime classics like superb fish and Chips Lasagnes etc while the fine dining restaurant serves a wide range of award winning dishes created from all fresh local seasonal ingredients.
As Head Chef your involvement and input is crucial to the continued success of this thriving and growing business so duties, skills and attributes will include a friendly personality with definite ‘can do’ attitude, excellent attention to detail, real passion for food and drink, with ability to bring added value to whatever you do.
The owners are really looking for somebody with real skill and passion for cooking with a genuine interest in building up the lunchtime trade whilst further improving the evening following.
Part of your duties will include taking complete financial control of the kitchen so full knowledge of stock control, purchasing and menu planning skills are imperative.
Ensuring that all HACCAP, CoSHH reports are maintained and monitored alongside general kitchen management including wastage controls etc.
