Mitel’s Technical Apprenticeship has been designed to give you the training and experience you will need to work with our IT and communications systems resolving complex technical issues on our customer’s sites in the South East of England and in Central London.
You will get training throughout your apprenticeship in our products and technologies, and you will earn a salary while you learn.
The starting salary is between £14,000 to £16,000 a year with the use of a Company Car (subject to our safe driver training.)
The two-year Programme includes:
On the job training carrying out technical support activities, supported by a mentor. Typical Activities include technical fault resolution, pre-staging and installation of Mitel’s equipment;
Completion of NVQ Level 3 IT Professional (advanced apprenticeship);
Mitel Product and Technology courses delivered either on-line or via classroom training by Mitel’s Technical Trainers;
Skills Training – induction training, safe driver training, customer care workshops, and presentation skills course;
Project Work – work related projects to solve business problems, usually carried out as part of a team;
Secondments – to gain a wider organisational understanding apprentices are seconded to non-technical departments such as Marketing or Logistics;
Attendance at Trade Shows – to assist in their technical set-up and in trade show activities such as meeting customers.
