Our client is Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with nearly sixty acute hospitals nationwide performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. Their commitment is to quality and value, providing facilities for advanced surgical procedures together with friendly, professional care. They currently require a Director of Clinical Services for their private hospital in the Cheadle area.

Main Duties:
To provide leadership and strategic direction for all clinical departments (including Nursing, Theatre’s, Physiotherapy and Pharmacy) you will have responsibility and accountability for the effective management of the financial resources of Clinical Services.
The running of the Clinical Services area which has approximately 450 professional and non-professional staff.
To maximise the financial performance of the departments in this remit whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery, in accordance with legal and professional standard.
To take responsibility for the clinical departments’ health and safety, quality, governance, policies and procedures and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:
Registered General Nurse Practitioner
Must possess an ENB 998* or equivalent mentoring qualification
Management qualification is desirable

We are looking for a highly energetic and proactive individual with a drive to succeed who has strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management. You will also have a proven track record of delivering against targets with managerial experience within Clinical Services areas.
