Our client has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced stock controller administrator within their Stock Replenishment Team.
To succeed in this role it is essential you possess excellent numeracy and organizational skills and experience of using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications to a good level. Your attention to detail and numerical skills will be excellent, as will your verbal and written communication abilities. A collaborative team worker, you'll be working closely with colleagues across the business and vendors. With this in mind, we'll expect you to be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and drive results.
The Role
To ensure Stock Replenishment Team know what containers are arriving and when.
Maintain the spreadsheets that manage container files and supplier purchases.
Matching invoices against goods arrived
Preparing files and sending to accounts.
Matching supplier purchases and margins against accounting sheets
Maintain and update databases, new products and display stock orders
Ensure that all policies, procedures, documentation and files are accessible and up to date
Ensure the accurate and timely completion of administrative, financial and system related tasks
The Person
Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
Excellent organization skills, self motivation and initiative.
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Previous experience of reconciling data, perhaps gained in the fields of accountancy or book-keeping
Strong attention to detail, numerate and analytical
Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills to an exceptional standard
Proven administration experience
