My client based in Belfast, currently has a requirement for a Graphic/Senior Graphic Designer to be based in their head office.
Job Role
Responsible for all aspects of the design and production of advertising and marketing materials for distribution to the various Company outlets.
Responsibilities
To be responsible for the production of printed materials from concept to reality. Obtaining an initial brief from the relevant Manager, this would involve producing the original design through to the final stage of having artwork for print.
To provide Graphic Design support to all areas of the business
To be responsible for the management of various projects such as rebranding and producing promotional material for new / existing products.
To create multimedia points of sale for all convenience stores.
To work with corporate departments to develop and assist in the production, design and maintenance of Web and multimedia content.
To liaise with external printing Companies regarding quotations / pricing.
To liase with other Managers as required, eg, production of job advertisements for the press.
Auxiliary work, such as cutting down printed materials and laminating.
Any other duties relevant and related to the post.
Educational qualifications
Essential:
Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a graphic design environment.
A sound knowledge of Quark Xpress & CS5 package including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Preferred:
Previous working experience of multimedia applications such as Flash

Other relevant information
Driving licence would be desirable.
Main hours of work Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5:00pm. However, there would be some degree of flexibility required for evening and weekend work as required.

In return my client is offering a competitive salary of £21,000 - £23,000 per annum.
