Denholm’s client, a UK leading FMCG business, is looking to appoint an experienced National Account Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make their mark with one of the top four accounts.
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be integral to establishing, maintaining and continually developing the relationship with one of their biggest customers, in one of their main categories. This is a key role within the business and you will be responsible for driving joint business plans to establish and maintain commercially beneficial relationships with the buying teams. In addition, you will be responsible for driving the NPD and category agenda for your customer, ensuring all opportunities are maximised and that the product range is successful and profitable. Acting as an ambassador for the business, you will also ensure all deadlines are met and that high customer and quality service levels are maintained. Being the lynchpin of the account, you will work closely with other functions internally, as well as all relevant external stakeholders and multiple client contacts.
Previous FMCG sales experience is essential for this role, ideally with a background in managing high value, top grocery/retail accounts. We’re looking for candidates with the ability to develop and foster strong relationships with customers.
