Faithful+Gould operates at the forefront of the transport, property and industry sectors and is one of the world's leading project and cost management consultants. Our flexible and multi-disciplinary approach enables us to provide an independent service in three keys areas consulting, project management and commercial services.

Based in either the Birmingham or Bristol offices, the Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for all marketing activity within the West Region and the activities of Marketing Managers/Co-ordinators. This will be a direct report to the Regional Managing Directors, West Region.

You will actively lead a team to deliver targeted activities that achieve our retention, organic growth and new business target

The role has four key aspects:
Lead the development and implementation of a business marketing plan.

Lead the development and implementation of internal and external communications plan.

Actively support the business in ensuring clarity of our proposition value to the market, our staff and the Atkins Group.

Support the development of the business as a whole by contributing to all aspects of the services we provide.

Line management responsiblities. Supporting 3 marketing team members - 2 based in Birmingham, 1 based in Bristol.

Requirements

CIM qualified

Graduate in a relevant discipline

Previous experience within a professional services consultancy environment

Track record leading and managing a marketing team for a consultancy company

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong project management skills – ability to deliver projects to time and budget

Strong interpersonal skills – able to deal with people at all levels

Ability to present written information in a professional and concise format

Demonstrable experience of writing for multiple audiences

Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively

Ability to plan & coordinate various events

Knowledge of Adobe Indesign / Photoshop preferable but not essential

Strong computer literacy, including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM and Outlook packages

Close liaison and collaboration with the Business Development Director for the West Region

Ability to manage and support colleages

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Faithful+Gould brand

Produce and follow marketing plans in line with agreed BD/KAM activity

Strategic involvement of bid content on national and local level

Manage regional marketing budget

Oversee production and content of bid submissions and other marketing collateral

Work with Directors on the development of products and services using various marketing tools

Deliver effective customer service to a high standard

Internal communications activity as required

Oversee input to the CRM system and ensure it is up to date at all times

Oversee marketing events

Direct collection and monitoring of client feedback

Public relations duties to include media relations, awards submissions, media monitoring and evaluation and corporate messaging

Attendance at national marketing meetings

Support and manage 3 team members
