Due to continued expansion and new project & client wins, my client, one of the North's leading full service agencies, is looking to grow their Development Team. They are looking for Web Developers at all levels, from recent graduates with a 2:1 or 1st in Computer Science (or related degree) through to Mid-Level and Senior. PHP will be your weapon of choice and you will be an Open Source Advocate, working within a LAMP environment. The ideal candidate will also have strong skills in JavaScript/JQuery, HTML(5)/CSS(3), knowledge of an MVC framework such as CodeIgniter or Zend, and experience with any other web technologies such as Java, Python, Ruby-on-Rails etc. is a bonus. Knowledge of CMS such as Drupal would be the icing on the cake!
Working as part of an extremely talented team, you will be responsible for working on a range of web-based projects for well-known names to both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. You will be responsible for working on complex websites and web applications, marketing campaigns and social media integration, taking visual designs and wireframes from the UX team and creating stunning functional work to clients' briefs. Graduates and Juniors will be offered full training and development, working with some of the most talented programmers around!
