L-3 STRATIS provides a wide range of Intelligence Analyst support, software and systems design, development and integration to government intelligence customers and prime contractors.
Senior Practicing Engineers shall provide Tier 2/3 on-site systems administration support to local customers at assigned Medical Training Facilities (MTFs). Support includes, but not limited to, receiving trouble tickets, analyzing issues, developing/implementing solutions, escalating issues and tracking customer service to completion for all service requests facilitated through the Centralized Support Hub. Technical support for communications may include installing, maintaining and troubleshooting desktop hardware, software including web-based applications, and peripherals associated with Medical Information Systems. He/she ensures HIPPA compliance.
On-site personnel shall coordinate with consolidated hub personnel to ensure all customer requests are completed as requested. Provides daily updates for all outstanding work orders via automated reporting system.
Senior Practicing Engineer's should have good oral and written communication skills in order to foster working relationships with the customer, internal and external IM/IT departments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus 4 years of Information Management/Information Technology experience. Bachelor's degree may be substituted with an associate degree in a technical field plus 7 years of specialized experience, major certifications plus 7 years of specialized experience or 11 years of specialized experience.
Skills: Demonstrated experience with systems administration, preferably at an enterprise level
Desired, but not required are experience working with IM/IT healthcare servcies, network control center operations, or other enterprise level communications. Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or other major IT certification(s).
Position requires IA Technical Level II certification as defined in DoD 8570.01M within 90 days of hire i.e. Security + or Systems security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).
This position requires an active Secret clearance.
