A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Professional Engineering Manager with an electrical/control background to join our client's successful chemical process manufacturing organisation.

You will hold a Professional Engineering qualification and be responsible for ensuring compliance to regulations and standards of this Top Tier COMAH site. You will fulfil the role of Duty Holder and be required to network extensively to ensure site practices are consistent with best practice. You will also lead the development and implementation of a cost effective engineering maintenance strategy to ensure the provision of a first class functional & technical support service across the plant. You will provide inspirational leadership to the technical teams across the site and ensure that best practice and regulatory standards are consistently upheld. You will be responsible for the divisional budget and have strong commercial acumen as well as excellent technical capability.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and will be a strong influencer who can drive change and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification within an engineering discipline (electrical/control engineering experience is preferred) along with strong industrial experience and be a member of a professional engineering body.
