Introduction:
Barclay Meade Finance and Accountancy are supporting a Montrose based engineering organisation who are recruiting an Assistant Financial Controller
The Job:
Our client a well established Engineering organisation require an Assistant Financial Controller to joining their well established team.
Candidates must be at the least CIMA/ACCA part qualified with the desire to complete their qualifications.
This role assists the Financial Controller and requires some limited travel to the three Scotland based sites
It requires a self starter and an accountant who has previously worked in a Project based environment.
Duties will include:
Preparation and analysis of monthly reports, including WIP, Orderbook, open PO's
Assisting in the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial close
Reporting and monitoring of projects and long term contracts
Monthly forecasting
Candidates who have relevant experience in Project or Engineering environments with the relevant qualification need only apply.
