This is a hands on role where you will be involved in every aspect of managing the account.
BASIC: £37,000 - £42,000, OTE; £4k

JOB SPECIFICATION:
The key responsibility of the National Account Manager is to ensure the continued growth and development within the assigned accounts. An innovative / creative approach is essential to enable best practice/advice and inception with your clients. The accounts you manage will range from businesses which totally outsources its manufacturing, (some of which closed their own sites as this company are better equipped, more cost effective and efficient than they could be themselves), to those who may just outsource over spill/extra demand. Focusing on a variety of KPI`s, you will ultimately achieve cost, quality and service agreements. The role requires you to visit clients (head offices, manufacturing or distribution sites and your own manufacturing sites (3 all midlands north), the role is 70% internal, 30% field based.
KEY DUTIES: National Account Manager - Brands, Business Development, Relationship Manager.
- Develop and maintain successful customer relationships to enable successful implementation of the customer business plan.
- Co-ordinate and communicate all commercial activities that drive any changes to the products supplied by the business.
- Facilitate the development of new business opportunities by tailoring them to specific customer needs whilst working within the overall business strategy.
- Analysis, interpretation and understanding of sales and other key data and communication of any relevant findings to required groups and individuals.
- Work with supply chain / CPM to ensure accurate forecasts are communicated to the business within specified time frames
- Ensure agreed Customer KPIs are maintained across Quality, Customer Service and Cost
- Ensure quarterly business review meetings are adhered to across key customers reporting on KPI performance and business plan progress
- Deliver professional and high quality responses to all external and internal customer enquiries.
- Act as a mentor/coach to ADE and other customer facing colleagues with regard to account management and customer communication skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application your background and experience will include strong influencing skills, with a creative/innovative approach to managing customer expectations. Ideally you will have experience managing brands based business; exposure to FMCG products, drinks, food, consumables would be a distinct advantage. This is a `hands on` role where you will be involved in every aspect of account management, having excellent attention to detail and administration skills are essential.
